Saturday: Body fitness class and seminar: Methods for holistically working with the Legs
Sunday: Working with the functional standing
Monday: Assessment, Feedback and more Applications
UPPER:July 31- Aug 2: Revolution of Hand-scapula & Shoulders
Friday: UPPER Overview and Anatomical Info: Rib cage, Shoulder Girdle and Arms
Saturday: Body fitness class and seminar Sat: Ribs, Forearms and Hands
Sunday: Scapula Revolution: Hand-scapula Relationship
Monday: Assessment, Feedback and more Applications including business and marketing
INTEGRATED BODY October 1 – 4: Whole Integrated Body
Friday: Overview and Anatomical Review: Connecting the Whole Body
Saturday: Body fitness class and seminar: Integrating Upper and Lower
Sunday: Come Together-integration
Monday: Assessment, Feedback, Applications including business and marketing
Each workshop weekend $450

I – Body Experience
BodyMind Fitness (38 hours of select classes at Movements Afoot/CKE/Moving On Center)
This can begin immediately on any day of the weeik, or begin within the BMF weekend all day on Fridays:

(60 hours study with in 4 weekend – Fri – Sun workshops)
III – BodyMind Fitness

BodyMind Fitness (12 hours of Mon am integration seminars)
The BodyMind Fitness© Certification trains you to integrate breath, biomechanically correct movement, observation skills, and effective return from injury.
Somatic Movement uses breath, movement, sensory-motor learning, and the retraining of neural connections between the brain, physiological tissues, and psyche to deepen the body-mind connection.
BodyMind Fitness Education offers the next level of education for movement specialists. It uses somatic movement education to expand your skills in the rich arena of neuro-muscular retraining and its relationship to human behavior.
Learn to use theories of how the body moves 3-dimensionally in space, the importance of the balance of stability/mobility for every action, subtle biomechanics and a whole body perspective. You and your clients learn to move and live with efficiency and satisfaction.

Dr. Martha Eddy CMA, is an internationally renowned exercise physiologist, personal trainer, dance educator, & founder of Center for Kinesthetic Education & Dynamic-Embodiment Somatic Movement Therapy Training. Her doctorate in movement science and education is from Teachers College, Columbia University where she taught for 10 years. Her courses are now affiliated with SUNY-ESC and doctoral programs – IUPS and SBGI
Lesley Powell, CMA is the founder and director of Movements Afoot, a Pilates Wellness Studio and co-directs BodyMind Fitness. Other teaching credits include faculty at Drew University, international lecturer and Faculty of BalancedBody University. Her wisdom is regularly presented in numerous magazines including Oprah, Shape and Elle.
